Welcome to SH 130, segments 5 & 6. We've built this Web site to help keep you informed on the project¹s progress and to address many of the questions you may have about the road.

Within this site, you will find information, maps and other documents helpful in learning more about SH 130. We are also interested in hearing from you through our "contact us" form.

Segments 1-4 of SH 130, from Georgetown in Williamson County to Mustang Ridge in southeast Travis County, began opening for traffic in late 2006, with the remainder scheduled to open by the end of 2007.

Segments 5 & 6, which will stretch 40 miles through Travis, Caldwell and Guadalupe counties to I-10 near Seguin, are projected to open by 2012, completing the entire SH 130 facility.

Once completed, this major new route is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion between San Antonio and Austin, providing commuters and freight operators with more transportation options. With reduced congestion, motorists will be able to rely on this fast, safe and efficient route.

On behalf of the SH 130 Concession Company, I apologize in advance for any inconveniences that construction of this roadway may cause for some businesses and residents in the corridor. I assure you that we are committed to mitigating those to the best of our ability.

We hope you are as excited as we are about the numerous positive impacts that this new transportation option will have on the region for years to come.

Sincerely,

José Antonio Labarra
